We're alive ... barely

Oh boy this has been quite the month. Right after Christmas my sister Jess came up with her kiddoes, her kid's had been fighting a bug but I did not want to miss out on seeing her. Lleyton had been sick right before Christmas so I think he had been well for about a week. Anyway around this time and even still I have been fighting the woes of pregnancy, exhaustion, migraines, sensitivity to smells, and 24/7 nauseousness and feeling like crap.
Before she came up I had barely been leaving my house and taking care of myself and Lleyton. If I thought that was bad I was wrong. I guess the bug her kid's had was RSV. Lleyton held out for the first few days but by the time they left he had gotten really bad. Josh has not been home too much during the Holidays and at the beginning of the new year he had an audit, so the 60 plus hour weeks continued.
I have found that I can push myself farther than I thought. Lleyton got so sick he was having problems breathing and couldn't sleep. When the poor little guy was awake his eyes would roll back in his head and he would sleep for thirty seconds and then wake up crying because he couldn't breathe. Josh came home and we took him to the Doctor and found out it was RSV we got an emergency prescription for a deep suction at the hospital in case his breathing became too labored. I also found out that the ear infection he has had since Thanksgiving had not gone away. It was really bad. The Doctor prescribed a third prescription for his ear and told us the RSV usually runs it's course in 14 days, we were seven days in.
Well here we are 21 days in and although he's not nearly sick as he was he is still congested and breathes out of his mouth and still coughs every so often. I took him to the Chiropractor to see if that would help but I don't know if it helped too much.
My poor husband has about had it with his whiney wife and messy house. It is quite difficult when you are sick and your child is sick . Hopefully this pregnancy will get better since my first trimester is almost over ... and hopefully Lleyton will be able to breathe again. The poor little guy.
Thank you to my Mom who has brought me meals and helped me straighten my house once a week. You have no idea how much that helps.
I am really sad I haven't been able to post all the happy stuff like Christmas. The camera is in Lleyton's room and he is asleep so hopefully soon I will post the Christmas stuff and other fun things like his first steps.
Sorry for the super long post about our sickness woes. Just wanted all to know who have wondered, yes we are alive. I know we haven't made it to church in quite sometime but trust me count your blessings that we haven't. This has not been fun.
