Finally New Pics of Lleyton!

I temporarily have my camera fixed, so enjoy these pics while I can still take pictures. (Our camera sucks the juice out of the battery I guess, so we need a new one) it won't be long until this battery has been sucked dry.
Our little Lleyton is growing up way too fast. He is soo funny and little and our little ball of boy joy. His latest antics include scrunching up his face and panting through his nose, clicking his tongue, and he gets around like crazy (the army crawl). He enjoys pulling hair and thinks it's absolutely hilarious when he TOOTS. He also flexes and and growls when he does his muscle man pose. Also, as Becky found out the other day he loves to give open mouth kisses ... she thought he was trying to eat her face but that's just what he does when mommy asks for a kiss. Sadly I am probably the only one who accepts the slobbery sweet gesture.

Sunday we had my sister tiff and her husband Micah and my cousin jen and her fiance Paul over for Sunday dinner. I am always looking for something quick, easy, and yummy to make. I ended up serving a changed up version of my aunt amy's bbq chicken salad. It received rave reviews so I included the recipe below (scroll to bottom). Anytime I find something quick and yummy to make I'm going to post it. If you're anything like me your life is crazy and it is hard to find things that the hubby and kids enjoy that you can manage to make before they start snacking. If you find any recipes that you love too, i would love to hear about them.

Josh's Surgery

Josh had surgery last week on his ankle. He had actually injured his ankle almost two years ago playing church ball (not smart when you are playing college tennis). He ended up injuring it quite badly. After dealing with the pain for quite a while he finally decided he was fed up with it after a recent snowboarding excursion.
They ended up taking a ligament out and tightening the others along with a few other medical things that went right over my head (ask Josh he loves talking medical lingo). He still went to school the next day but did not return to work until about a week later due to doctors orders. Boy is he glad to be back at work ... I'm glad too. That boy hated being stuck home and is way too independent to actually enjoy having someone wait on him.
Lleyton was a little concerned when first seeing Josh in recovery and couldn't quite figure out why he was hobbling around on crutches when we got home. He still doesn't like to sleep much during the night and might be struggling even more because he is teething. Josh every now and then will get up with him, but hasn't really been able to because he is still in a hard cast. Oh well the cute little man is worth it.
